Terms of Service

1. License

When you purchase ScanforPC, you are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Software. Each license key activates the Software on one computer. You may not resell, sublicense, share, or redistribute your license key or the Software.

The Software and all intellectual property rights in it remain the property of ScanforPC. This is a license, not a sale of the Software itself.

2. One-time purchase and updates

ScanforPC is sold as a one-time purchase, not a subscription. Your purchase includes updates to the Software as they are made available. We may offer major future versions as separate paid upgrades; if we do, that will be made clear before purchase.

3. Refund policy

We offer a full refund within 3 days of the date of purchase. If you are not satisfied for any reason, email support@scanforpc.com within 3 days of your purchase and we will issue a full refund. After 3 days, purchases are non-refundable. Refunds are returned to your original payment method.

4. Payments

Payments are processed by our payment provider, Dodo Payments. We do not receive or store your full payment-card details. Your use of the checkout is also subject to the payment provider's terms.

5. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Software only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, circumvent the license activation of, or otherwise tamper with the Software, except to the extent that applicable law expressly permits.

6. Disclaimer of warranty

The Software is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. You are responsible for maintaining backups of your data. ScanforPC helps you identify files to review, but you decide what to delete; always confirm before removing files.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ScanforPC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of the Software. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Software shall not exceed the amount you paid for your license.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and the “Last updated” date will be revised accordingly.
